Club News

It is with great sadness that I need to let all members know that Doug Rozynski passed away last week.

If you have read the club history pages you will know that Doug was instrumental in re-invigorating
the club back in 1998, after is came close to folding in 1994.

Thank you Doug for your vision, and never give up attitude.
You will be sadly missed by those who knew you. RIP

Fishy Tales After The Comp.

Question 1: What is the most impotant thing when you spend the day out on the
inlet in search of "THE BIG ONE"?

Hmmm, my guess is water!! That is of course you are fishing for crabs

SMILE, you're on candid camera!!!

Not sure if you are a member, but thanks for the entertainment.

We hope you didn't have to wait TOO long.

Rumor has it that ONE of our members did beach themselves out by
"The Horseshoe" not sure who you were, as no names have been provided
and lucky for you no photos were taken.

Question 2: Exactly what is the ledge on the side of the boat for?

My guess would be for getting in and out of the boat, but word has it one
of our members...cough Terry Shelly cough cough has gotten in to the bad
habit of using it for storage.

Now normally that would be OK if you remembered to move the things BEFORE taking
off in the car.

The tally so far........

2 good graphite rods located later unscathed in the driveway,

A brand new (yet to be used) GPS which was found lying helpless on the side of the road.
down the next street.

Lucky for Terry no damage has been done (unless you count his reputation)

If you ever want free fishing rods, or GPS my advice would be to check the carpark
to see if Terry & Ros are out fishing and then simply take a drive down thier street.

Also, Ros managed to hook a stingray on her good light rod and being the sensible one wanted
to cut the line.

But, OH no not Terry, he wanted to try and get it to the surface and after about
a 10 min fight the nice light rod could take no more and snapped in half.

Being the gentleman that he is though, he did let Ros use one of his rods while he
proceeded to fished with one rod and one half of a rod!

(hopefully it wasn't the good graphite rod mentioned earlier)

Until next time......

Elise :-)
